    Indre Altman joined Crosspoint in 2024 and is part of the firm’s early-stage practice. Previously, she worked at S2G Ventures, financing climate-focused companies through an opportunistic investing strategy. Indre began her career as an investment banker at Lazard, specializing in M&A activity in the volatile energy sector during the Covid-19 pandemic. She also pursued graduate studies in exploration geology with a full-ride fellowship at the University of Texas at Austin, where she studied novel computational methods for modeling deepwater oil and gas reservoirs. Indre holds an M.S. from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.A. from Bowdoin College.

    Marc Andrews serves as an Operating Partner, focusing on go-to-market strategies and routes to markets effectiveness. Prior to joining Crosspoint Capital Partners, Marc served as SVP Global Sales at Symantec from August 2016 until September 2019 during which he led Symantec’s go to market organization. Prior to joining Symantec, Marc held the role of SVP Worldwide Field Operations for Blue Coat from 2011 until the acquisition by Symantec in August 2016. Prior to joining Blue Coat, Marc served as President of Microfocus PLC from 2008 until 2010 and previously led Saba’s international business from 2007 to 2008. From 2002 until 2007, Marc served as COO at NetIQ, which was acquired by Attachmate in 2006. Marc has over 30 years of expertise in senior leadership and management.

    Jenny Bae joined Crosspoint Capital Partners in 2021. Prior to joining Crosspoint, Jenny was at Icon Ventures for five years, where she managed day-to-day accounting and investment activities. Prior to Icon, Jenny was with EY’s Family Office Services, where she provided a full accounting solution to high-net-worth clients. Prior to that, Jenny was at Andersen Tax LLC. Jenny holds a B.S. in Finance and Marketing from NYU Stern School of Business.

    Shaistah Bahrainwala joined Crosspoint Capital Partners in 2021. Prior to Crosspoint, Shaistah was a Vice President at GI Partners, where she focused on investments in cybersecurity and IT infrastructure. Prior to GI Partners, Shaistah was a management consultant at McKinsey and Company. Shaistah graduated with University Honors at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with B.S. degrees in Finance and Accountancy and holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

    Head of Marketing and Communications

    Over the last 20 years, Katie Beck has served as a strategic marketing partner to help organizations scale at various stages of growth. Prior to joining Crosspoint Capital Partners, Katie served as Vice President of Corporate Marketing and Communications at Forescout where she used strategic internal and external communications to drive awareness, build thought leadership, manage risk and reputation, shape company culture, attract top talent, and engage and inspire employees. She has extensive experience in the cybersecurity industry having also spent 10 years at Symantec in various roles, including head of global product PR and head of communications for the company’s emerging and high-growth markets, based out of Dubai. In addition, Katie has advised earlier stage start-ups on marketing and communications strategies, working closely with the CEOs of Awake Security and Trusted Key prior to their acquisitions to Arista Networks and Workday, respectively. Katie graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Public Relations from California State University, Chico.

    Charles has worked in Information and Cybersecurity for over 30 years, with roles that include Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at JP Morgan, Deutsche Bank, and Citi. During this time, he held numerous industry leadership roles, including Chair of the Financial Services Sector Coordinating Council (FSSCC), founding Director of the Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FS-ISAC), and the Chair of the OpenGroup’s Security Program. Charles has worked closely with banking regulators around the world (OCC, FRB, BoE, MAS, and HKMA) to help reduce the risk posed by cyber threats to the financial sector at large. Charles is a regular conference speaker and has had the honor of appearing in front of US House and Senate committees. In 2015, Charles was recognized by his peers, winning the Wasserman Award, which recognizes outstanding career achievement and contribution to the Information Systems Audit, Control, Security, Risk Management, and/or Governance professions.

    Charles has a M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Southern California (USC) and a B.S. in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI).

    Joe Chen

    Before joining Crosspoint Capital Partners, Joe served as Vice President of Engineering at Symantec, Broadcom, and Carbon Black, where he led global teams and directed advanced machine learning projects focused on threat detection, network security, and endpoint protection.

    In addition to his engineering leadership, Joe played key roles in Symantec’s technical due diligence team for multiple acquisitions. Following Broadcom’s $10.9 billion acquisition of Symantec’s enterprise security division, Joe led essential engineering integrations to streamline technology and operations. He also directed all engineering integration efforts for Broadcom’s acquisition of Carbon Black as part of its $63 billion acquisition of VMware.

    Throughout his career, Joe has been awarded more than 55 U.S. patents. Joe is also a board member of the Cyber Threat Alliance. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles.

    Greg Clark served as CEO and member of the Board of Directors of Symantec Corporation between August 2016 and May 2019. Prior to joining Symantec, Greg was CEO of Blue Coat Systems, Inc. from 2011 until its acquisition by Symantec in August 2016. During this period, Greg also served as an Operating Partner at Thoma Bravo, a private equity firm, from 2012 to 2015. Prior to joining Blue Coat Systems, Greg was President and CEO of Mincom from 2008 until its acquisition by the ABB Group in August 2011. Before joining Mincom, Greg was a founder and served as President and CEO of E2open from 2001 until 2008. Earlier in his career, Greg founded and led security software firm Dascom, which was acquired by IBM in 1999. Greg served as a Distinguished Engineer and Vice President of IBM’s Tivoli Systems from 1999 until 2001. Greg holds a B.S. from Griffith University.

    Kelly Danson brings 20+ years of VC/PE accounting and operations experience. Prior to joining Crosspoint Capital Partners, Kelly served as CFO of Garnett & Helfrich Capital, a $350M Venture Buyout Firm where she led the operations team, which included finance, compliance, portfolio company management, LP reporting and back office management. Previously, Kelly was with PricewaterhouseCoopers’ audit practice in San Francisco. Kelly is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and received a BA in Economics and Management from Albion College in Michigan.

    Negin Dixon joined Crosspoint Capital Partners in 2021, bringing over ten years of extensive finance and business operations knowledge to the team. Prior to Crosspoint, Negin was at NortonLifeLock, formerly Symantec Corp, where she played pivotal roles in supporting the President to navigate through the divestiture of Symantec’s Enterprise business while concurrently fostering the growth of NortonLifeLock’s pure-play Consumer business. With a background as a Small Business Consultant at Paychex, Inc., Negin has a demonstrated ability to implement human capital management solutions that increase market share and drive revenue for businesses across various industries. Her diverse experience has been instrumental in her understanding of market dynamics, financial strategies, and operational efficiencies, enabling her to consistently deliver results and contribute to the value creation initiatives of organizations she has been a part of. Negin holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration & Finance from the University of Vermont and earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Southern New Hampshire University.

    Prior to joining Crosspoint Capital Partners as an Operating Partner, Peter Doggart served as Chief Strategy Officer for Armis (2019-2023). Peter brings 20+ years of operational experience at VC/PE and publicly traded cyber security companies, and specializes in strategy, business and corporate development. Prior to Armis, Peter served as the VP of Business Development and Alliances at Symantec (SYMC) and Blue Coat, VP of Global Marketing at Crossbeam Systems and held senior Product positions at 3Com Corporation (COMS). He holds a first-class honors degree in Electronic Engineering from Loughborough University, UK and postgraduate diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK.

    Andre Fuetsch joined Crosspoint Capital Partners in 2024 and leads the firm’s early-stage practice. Prior to joining Crosspoint, Andre served as Executive Vice President & CTO of AT&T since 2016 leading their global mobile and fixed network technology direction and launched the world’s first 5G standards-based commercial service in 2018. Andre also served as President of AT&T Labs overseeing AT&T’s storied R&D and Intellectual Property divisions where he championed the company-wide push into open-source software and open standards across the industry since 2012. Prior to that, Andre was CIO of AT&T Business Solutions and previously held various leadership positions in product development, network engineering & operations and corporate development. Andre currently serves on the board of Radcom and formerly served on the boards of the Linux Foundation, Magic Leap and was chairman of the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS), Next G Alliance, Open Network Foundation and co-founder and chair of the Open Radio Access Network (ORAN) Alliance. Andre started his career in 1995 at Pacific Bell developing network software tools and holds six patents in network traffic optimization and database design. Fuetsch holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from UC Berkeley and completed his graduate coursework in Computer Science at Stanford University.

    Rob is an accomplished executive with nearly three decades in the cybersecurity industry. He recently served as Vice President and General Manager of the Enterprise Security Group at Broadcom (ESG), where he oversaw a comprehensive portfolio of Symantec and Carbon Black security solutions. His leadership was instrumental in delivering robust cybersecurity solutions to large, complex enterprises operating in highly regulated environments. Rob's impressive career includes key roles at prominent technology companies. He joined Broadcom through the acquisition of Symantec's Enterprise Security business, where he led the former BlueCoat product division. Prior to this, he played a pivotal role in Forescout Technologies' successful IPO. His previous experience also includes leadership positions at HP TippingPoint, Symantec, SonicWALL, and Ignyte. Rob holds a B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems from San Jose State University.

    Brook brings 20+ years of experience in the technology space leading cross-functional teams through transformational initiatives, venture investments, mergers and acquisitions, integrations, and global risk mitigation strategies to Crosspoint Capital Partners. Brook most recently contributed to the growth of Workday, a leading cloud enterprise software provider, designing and leading the acquisition integration practice. This follows seventeen years in the digital storage industry with Seagate where she built her operating capabilities in functional and corporate roles across North America and Asia Pacific. Brook holds a B.S. in Business Administration & Accounting from Washington & Lee University where she was a four-time All-American in tennis and received her multi-discipline master's in management, economics, and international relations from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland.

    Samir Kapuria

    Over the last 25 years, Samir Kapuria has led Enterprise Software, Consumer Software and Managed Services businesses with a focus on strategy, growth execution and fueling innovation. Prior to joining Crosspoint Capital Partners in 2021, Samir was President of NortonLifelock from 2019 to 2020, championing the company’s evolution into a pure-play public Consumer company following the divesture of the Symantec enterprise business. Before NortonLifelock, Samir was General Manager of several of Symantec Corporation’s businesses from 2014 to 2019 where he led global organizations encompassing sales, operations, engineering, product management, marketing and support. Samir joined Symantec in 2004 through the acquisition of @stake, a leading cyber security consulting firm and began his Cyber journey in 1995 with BBN in Cambridge, MA. He holds a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Massachusetts.

Prior to Crosspoint, Dan was a management consultant at Deloitte, leading strategy, implementation, and strategic investment engagements for cybersecurity and cloud infrastructure clients. Before Deloitte, Dan was a Manager at Weber Shandwick spearheading the execution of business and corporate development initiatives. Dan graduated from Colgate University with a B.S. degree in Economics and holds an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University.

    Ron Lescinskas

    Senior Vice President

    Ron Lescinskas joined Crosspoint Capital Partners as Senior Vice President, Portfolio Operations in 2022. Prior to joining Crosspoint, Ron served as Head of Business Operations for the $2.5B Consumer Security Business at NortonLifeLock. From 2014 to 2018, Ron served as Senior Director, Finance at Symantec responsible for development and management of the operating plan of the Cyber Security business unit consisting of managed security, threat intelligence, and incident response. Prior to Symantec, Ron was the Chief Financial Officer for venture-backed cybersecurity companies Neohapsis and @stake where he executed business infrastructure development and multiple series financings. Ron started his career in finance and operations at Cambridge Technology Partners and Deloitte, and prior to that he worked at a utility company as an analyst supporting capital finance projects. Ron holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Salem State University, and an M.B.A. from D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University.

    John joined Crosspoint Capital Partners in 2023 as an Operating Partner with a focus on global technology operations, scalable service delivery and building world class teams. John’s 25+ year career spans companies large and small, pre and post IPO, including GE, Accenture, Intuit, Symantec and Rackspace. Prior to Crosspoint, as the GM for Symantec's Cyber Security Services unit and its 6 global Security Operations Centers, John led the successful acquisition and integration of CSS's MDR, Managed Intelligence and Incident Response businesses from Broadcom to Accenture, where he became an Accenture Managing Director. While at Rackspace, John was the SVP for global fanatical support and the CISO; as an active member of Bain’s Loyalty Forum, he developed and implemented Rackspace’s Net Promoter program. While at GE, John managed commercial litigation for a division of GE Capital and held several technology and operational leadership roles. John holds a BS from Fordham University and a JD from Quinnipiac University School of Law.

    Steve Luczo served as CEO for Seagate Technology from July 1998-July 2004, and again, from January 2009-October 2017. He also served as Chairman of the Board of Seagate Technology from 2002 until 2017 and was Executive Chairman from October 2017 to October2018. During his second tenure as CEO, Seagate was among the top 5 performing stocks in the S&P 500. Prior to joining Seagate Technology, Steve was Senior Managing Director of the Global Technology Group of Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc., an investment banking firm, from February 1992 to October 1993.

    Steve graduated from Stanford University, received his M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business and has an honorary Doctorate of Letters in Economics from Queens University, Belfast.

    Matt MacKenzie served as SVP, Chief of Staff of Symantec Corporation between August 2016 and May 2019. Prior to joining Symantec, Matt was Chief of Staff and General Counsel of Blue Coat Systems, Inc. from 2012 until its acquisition by Symantec in August 2016. Prior to joining Blue Coat Systems, Matt was the Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel at Mincom from 2010 until 2011. Prior to Mincom, he served as SVP of Corporate & Legal Affairs and General Counsel at E2open from 2001 until 2009. Matt also served as E2open’s acting Chief Financial Officer from 2005 to 2006. Matt began his career as an attorney with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Matt holds a B.A. and J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles, and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

    Barry Mainz brings more than 25+ years of experience in executive leadership, global sales, marketing, product led growth, and product development to Crosspoint Capital Partners. Most recently, Barry served as COO of Malwarebytes responsible for development and execution of the go to market strategy. Prior to joining Malwarebytes, Barry was CEO and member of the Board of Directors for MobileIron. Before MobileIron, Barry served as President of Wind River Systems (an Intel subsidiary). Additionally, Barry has held leadership roles, as well as advisory and board positions at private and public companies such as Mercury Interactive, Makara (acquired by Red Hat, Inc.), and Sun Microsystems.

    Prior to joining Crosspoint Capital Partners, Vivek Mani served as VP, and CFO for the $2.5B Enterprise Security Business at Symantec. Between 2015 and 2018, Vivek served as VP, Finance at Symantec and executed restructuring programs and complex carve-outs during that period in addition to supporting FP&A efforts within the company. Prior to Symantec, Vivek was a deal lead at Oracle Corporation where he executed more than $10B in software M&A transactions ranging from tuck-ins to multi-billion dollar acquisitions. Vivek began his career in Finance and M&A at Credit Suisse technology investment banking, and prior to that he worked at SanDisk designing Security Hardware and Software at SanDisk. Vivek holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from U.T. Austin, and an M.B.A. from University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

    John B. Mumford was the Founding Partner of Crosspoint Venture Partners, a venture capital firm, which was founded in 1982. John was a co-founder and chairman or director of five public companies: Hello Direct, Inmac, Office Club (Office Depot), Ariba and E2open. John co-founded and funded numerous private companies during his 40+ year career. In the 1980s and 1990s, John served on the NVCA Board of Directors and was the second recipient in 2001 of the International Business Forum’s Venture Capital Lifetime Achievement Award.* John served in the United States Navy and worked for IBM Systems and KPMG Consulting earlier in his career. John received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Arizona State University and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. John is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).

    * In 2001, the International Business Forum (“IBF”) awarded John a Venture Capital Lifetime Achievement Award. International Business Forum is no longer actively in business and the criteria it used to decide such award is not available to Crosspoint Capital Partners.

Nick has over seven years of public company CFO experience at Symantec Corporation and NetApp, Inc., and over 28 years of global finance and operations experience at Symantec, Blue Coat Systems, Inc., NetApp, Honeywell International, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Nick holds an M.S. in Taxation from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a B.S. in Business Administration from Boston University Questrom School of Business.

Connor graduated from the University of Notre Dame and holds a B.B.A in Finance with a second major in Philosophy.

    Nico Popp joined Crosspoint Capital Partners as an Operating Partner in 2023. Prior to joining the firm, Nico served as Chief Product Officer (CPO) at Tenable where he launched Tenable One, the first Exposure Management platform. Prior to tenure at Tenable, Nico was the CPO at Forcepoint, where he spearheaded the development of Forcepoint's human-centric SASE. He also held the position of Senior Vice President for Cloud and Data Security at Symantec. Earlier in his career, Nico held senior leadership roles at Verisign, Apple, and NeXT Software. Nico holds more than 30 patents and received a master’s degree in aeronautics and astronautics from Stanford University, and a bachelor’s degree from France’s SUPAERO.

    Prior to joining Crosspoint Capital Partners, Jordan served as Vice President of Finance at Colchis Capital, where he oversaw financial reporting, operations, tax and compliance, portfolio company valuations, and GP activities for the firm's single family real estate funds and private credit hedge funds. Previously, Jordan began his career in private equity with TPG Special Situations, where he was a senior analyst overseeing all fund accounting for the firm's opportunistic credit funds. Jordan started his career in public accounting with Novogradac & Company LLPs audit practice in San Francisco. Jordan received a BA in Economics from the University of California Santa Barbara.

    Richard (Rich) Rogers has built and led international marketing and go-to-market teams for over 25 years. Prior to joining Crosspoint Capital as an Operating Partner, Rich led Startup Marketing globally for AWS, built and led global field and channel marketing and in-country demand generation for Palo Alto Networks, was VP New Product Introduction and later VP Web Strategy at SAP, launched and led Industry Marketing globally for Oracle, Veritas, and Symantec, and was the US Director for Information Communications and Entertainment marketing at KPMG. He has a passion for entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainable technology and has advised and sat on the board for startups in the security, SaaS, services, and clean tech sectors.

    Rachael Schaefer joined Crosspoint Capital Partners in June 2024. Before joining Crosspoint, Rachael specialized in fund administration, with a strong focus on the venture capital and private equity sectors. She managed both Funds and Management Companies, gaining a comprehensive understanding of both big-picture and day-to-day accounting operations. Rachael holds a BS in International Business and Finance from California State University, Sacramento.

Before joining Crosspoint, Zach was a Managing Director at Prelude, an early-stage venture capital fund specializing in cybersecurity. Earlier in his career, Zach served as a product executive at Symantec, where he played a pivotal role in product management, pricing, and strategy for the enterprise product division. Zach successfully led the launch of multiple 1.0 products. Zach holds a B.S. in Information Systems from the University of Utah and an M.B.A. from Westminster’s Gore School of Business.

    Dan Stanko joined Crosspoint Capital Partners as a Managing Director in 2021. Prior to Crosspoint, Dan was a Partner at HGGC, focusing on investments in software and industrial services. Prior to HGGC, Dan spent nearly a decade at Bain Capital, where he was responsible for sourcing, evaluating, executing, managing, and exiting growth and buyout investments across a range of industries, including technology, industrials and retail. Dan started his career as an investment professional in the Private Equity Group at Goldman, Sachs & Co.

    Dan graduated with highest distinction from Indiana University with a B.S. in Biochemistry and B.A. in East Asian Languages, and holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar.

    Steve is a seasoned executive who brings a long track record of building and driving high-growth GTM strategies to companies while also bringing operational excellence to large complex organizations and category leaders. Steve currently serves as President of Island where he is focused on scaling a category-leading company and overseeing the successful execution of all GTM activities, marketing, and customer success. Steve previously served as Chief Revenue Officer for Forescout Technologies leading all customer-facing functions. Prior to Forescout, Steve has served as SVP of Sales for McAfee, Blue Coat, and Symantec where he had responsibility for sales, field marketing, inside sales, channel, and other critical functions.

    Before joining CrosspointCapital Partners, Dr. Hugh Thompson was the Chief Technology Officer of Symantec (SYMC, NLOK) where he was responsible for the company’s technical and product strategy and led a team of approximately 1000 technologists, software developers, product developers and researchers. Prior to joining Symantec, he was the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Marketing Officer of Blue Coat Systems Inc. which was acquired by Symantec for $4.65 Billion in 2016.

    Dr. Hugh Thompson is also the Executive Chairman, RSAC & Program Committee Chair, RSAC™ Conference, where he is responsible for collaborating with the cybersecurity community to identify global trends and set the agenda for RSAC™ Conference. A world-renowned security expert and former Adjunct Professor at Columbia University, Hugh holds a BS, MS and PhD in applied mathematics. He has co-authored four books and more than 100 publications on security and has testified before Congress on cybersecurity. Hugh is a member of the Aspen Cyber Security Group and the STS Forum Council. He earned his B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Florida Institute of Technology.

    Prior to joining Crosspoint Capital Partners, Saša served as the Senior Vice President of Security at Salesforce, where he spearheaded a global organization encompassing enterprise security, product security, offensive security, security engineering, automation, bug bounty programs, technical product/program/project management, and mergers and acquisitions. He also played a crucial role as the executive sponsor for strategic corporate security initiatives, such as Zero Trust.

    Prior to his tenure at Salesforce, Saša spent nearly two decades at ExxonMobil. Saša holds a bachelor’s degree in management and a master’s degree in decision science from the University of Florida.

    Indre Altman joined Crosspoint in 2024 and is part of the firm’s early-stage practice. Previously, she worked at S2G Ventures, financing climate-focused companies through an opportunistic investing strategy. Indre began her career as an investment banker at Lazard, specializing in M&A activity in the volatile energy sector during the Covid-19 pandemic. She also pursued graduate studies in exploration geology with a full-ride fellowship at the University of Texas at Austin, where she studied novel computational methods for modeling deepwater oil and gas reservoirs. Indre holds an M.S. from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.A. from Bowdoin College.

    Andre Fuetsch joined Crosspoint Capital Partners in 2024 and leads the firm’s early-stage practice. Prior to joining Crosspoint, Andre served as Executive Vice President & CTO of AT&T since 2016 leading their global mobile and fixed network technology direction and launched the world’s first 5G standards-based commercial service in 2018. Andre also served as President of AT&T Labs overseeing AT&T’s storied R&D and Intellectual Property divisions where he championed the company-wide push into open-source software and open standards across the industry since 2012. Prior to that, Andre was CIO of AT&T Business Solutions and previously held various leadership positions in product development, network engineering & operations and corporate development. Andre currently serves on the board of Radcom and formerly served on the boards of the Linux Foundation, Magic Leap and was chairman of the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS), Next G Alliance, Open Network Foundation and co-founder and chair of the Open Radio Access Network (ORAN) Alliance. Andre started his career in 1995 at Pacific Bell developing network software tools and holds six patents in network traffic optimization and database design. Fuetsch holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from UC Berkeley and completed his graduate coursework in Computer Science at Stanford University.

Before joining Crosspoint, Zach was a Managing Director at Prelude, an early-stage venture capital fund specializing in cybersecurity. Earlier in his career, Zach served as a product executive at Symantec, where he played a pivotal role in product management, pricing, and strategy for the enterprise product division. Zach successfully led the launch of multiple 1.0 products. Zach holds a B.S. in Information Systems from the University of Utah and an M.B.A. from Westminster’s Gore School of Business.
