Clark Smith joined Crosspoint Capital as an Operating Partner in 2026.  Prior to joining Crosspoint, Clark served as Chief Cloud Officer and Head of Cloud Technology Services at Citi, where he oversaw multi-billion-dollar global technology infrastructure operations. In this role, he ensured the resilient, secure, and cost-effective growth of Citi’s enterprise technology architecture. A seasoned senior executive, Clark has held major technology leadership roles across the financial services sector, including positions at Citibank, TD Bank, and Deutsche Bank. Before entering financial services, he spent over a decade in public service leading key technology and program initiatives across the Department of Justice, the Intelligence Community, and the Department of Homeland Security—contributions recognized with numerous medals and commendations.  Beyond his corporate and public service career, Clark was awarded the Daily Points of Light Award by President George H.W. Bush for his extensive volunteer work in child care advocacy. A trained engineer, Clark earned his Ph.D. from Duke University. He resides in Texas with his wife and has two adult children.
